Favorite getaway

We spent the last five days of July in Bend with my family. Good night, I love that place. We opted to rent a large house, which gave us way more space for less money than all of the hotels and condos we've stayed at in the past. Jake and I have been to Bend a handful of times since we moved to Oregon, but we hadn't been in the summer, so we had a pretty long to-do list of warm weather activities. In addition to celebrating our 2-year anniversary (seriously, time flies), our itinerary included: visiting the farmer's market at Northwest Crossing, shopping in downtown Bend and the Old Mill District, hiking at Tumalo Falls and Smith Rock, floating the Deschutes, whitewater rafting Big Eddy on the Deschutes (Jake and I have been dreaming about this FOREVER), and of course, drinking lots and lots of craft beer. It was a fabulous 5 days. When can we go back?
